Editor's Review:

This product is unique in this category.  It is a downloadable course full of advice on how to market yourself as an artist and make a profit.  Deciding to turn your hobby into a living can be problematic and purists may feel like they are "selling out" by deciding to sell their creations.  This e-book written by Steve Popkin is designed to tackle the obstacles you might face, provide solutions and a wealth of ideas, and give you the confidence to set up a profitable business.  Popkin is a glass artist and admits that while you may well not have heard of his work, he is nonetheless a thriving artist making a decent living doing work he enjoys.

It has to be said, the website selling this product is by no means a masterpiece of web design.  This makes us suspicious of the quality of the marketing advice Popkin is trying to sell.  However, perhaps the man is so good at selling that he doesn't need an effective aesthetically pleasing website containing concise information and correct spelling.  Whatever his secret, this is a highly popular product so deserves a look in.

The course comprises of 27 sections, and claims to be 13.5 hours of material delivered by e-mail downloads.  Unfortunately, we were unable to discern from the website whether this is video or text format, but it seems to be some kind of multimedia.  We did manage to find an e-mail address for the web-builders [email protected] hidden away on a page containing details of the 27 course section. Also his e-mail address appears in the small print at the bottom of the page: [email protected].

In addition to the core sections of the course, you will also find subjects that are specific to glass art, such as the architectural and religious art, or are more designed with the craft market in mind.  There are plenty of ideas here and if you can get even one of these ideas to work out, you will be able to make back the money you spent on the course!  In addition to the course, you will receive a number of extra "free" goodies.  These include monthly interviews from experts working in the field, two e-books by different authors entitled "Think and Grow Rich" and "Grants Secrets" respectively, access to accompanying website for "Think and Grow Rich", and Steve Popkin's e-mail address and phone number for one-on-one consultations.

The testimonials and comments left by customers confirm that this is a well-sought after product and highly praised for its ingenuity, wealth of ideas and helpful hints.  There is nothing better than getting trade secrets from people in the business, so why not give The Thriving Artist a try and see for yourself?
